Jerry & Sifa Lukeka
Development Team Leader & Program Manager
Jerry is our organization’s Development Team Leader, and Sifa is our Program Manager. Their dedication and commitment to empowering young people to fulfill their potential have been critical to our mission. Jerry’s extensive experience and track record in local and global non-profit leadership have been instrumental to our organization’s success. For over a decade, Jerry has been serving the body of Christ in Kampala. He has been involved in various roles, such as leading the administration department of the famous refugee band “The Revelation Music Band,” being a youth Pastor at CELPA BETHEL, serving at Watoto Church as a cell leader, facilitating Equip Streams, preaching messages of hope to various churches in Uganda, and hosting evangelical events in the Nakivale and Rwamwanja Refugee Settlements

ABEDI MUDERWA
Worship team Leader
Abedi Muderwa, the Mass Choir and worship leader at HIPEC Church Kampala, is widely recognized for his exceptional singing gifts and talent. Upon attending the VRC fellowship for the first time, Abedi felt he had finally found a free space to worship God as passionately as possible. When the call to lead the VRC Worship came, he embraced it as an excellent opportunity and a blessing to lead his fellow youths to Christ. Abedi’s message to this generation is unequivocal: God is real and still saves lives. He urges us to follow Him and surrender our lives to Him to experience His grace and salvation

CEDRICK MAPESA
Discipleship & school outreach Team leader
Cedrick Mapesa is an inspiring member of the Holy Spirit Apostles Church. Cedrick shows unwavering dedication as he leads the VRC Discipleship and School Outreach Team. His passion for preaching has made him one of his generation’s most influential young preachers. Through tireless efforts working with Scripture Union, he teaches young people the word of God in schools. Cedrick is known for his powerful quote, “Seek God while He can be found,” which he incorporates into his sermons. Despite facing hardships, such as the loss of his mother in 2015, Cedrick remains unbroken, displaying an unbreakable spirit and a positive attitude

JOELLE ISHIMWE
Operations Manager
Joelle Ishimwe is a vital member of our church community, serving as both an essential member of the St. Steven Church choir and our VRC team’s operations manager. Her expertise and unwavering passion for building community among young people make her an indispensable asset to our team. Joelle believes that being close to God provides access to a world of limitless possibilities, and she wants to share this message with the current generation. Joelle’s inspiring message encourages us to strengthen our faith and confidently pursue our dreams. In her free time, Joelle enjoys watching movies and finds joy in sharing her love for cinema with others

Care Team Coordinator
Eunice is an active member of Sojourn Church Kampala, where she teaches Sunday School (Children’s church) and is part of the Worship Team. At VRC, she serves as our Care Team Coordinator, ensuring that people encounter and experience Christ in a way that creates a sense of value and belonging. Eunice is passionate about spiritual growth and connecting with others who share her faith in Christ. Deepening her relationship with God, learning more about faith, and being surrounded by like-minded peers who can uplift and encourage her on her salvation journey inspires her. She is known for quoting John 13:35, “By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” This message deeply resonates with her; she enjoys spending time alone in her free time.

AMADJA DAVID M
Program Director
Amadja David M is passionate and enjoys meeting new people from diverse backgrounds, particularly young people. He plays guitar at Sojourn Church and serves as a Program Director at VRC, where he inspires the younger generation to remain humble. His message is evident as the scriptures say: God lifts those who humble themselves and resist the proud. Interestingly, Amadja prefers cooking his meals over dining in fancy restaurants. He believes that cooking is therapeutic and empowers him to make healthier choices

BENJAMIN SAFARI
Creative Arts & Media Team Leader
Benjamine Safari, who performs under the stage name BenVibes, is the Creative, Content, and Media Director at Holy Spirit Church. He is deeply passionate about inspiring young people to cultivate a solid and intimate relationship with God, which has profoundly impacted him. His driving motivation is to serve the community at VRC through his creativity and media work. BenVibes believes this is the time for people to seek God, as He is more visible now than ever. His message to this generation is to embrace grace and seek God’s guidance. A fun fact about BenVibes is that he always keeps an open mind and is eager to learn new things.

Gracia Halukoma
Global Partnership Team leader
Gracia Halukoma embodies unwavering faith and dedication to serving her church community, CEPAC Bethel Mission Atlanta. Her roles as Youth Secretary, Choir Vice President, and Worship Leader reflect her commitment to fostering a deep connection with faith and community.
Gracia was moved by the profound love and passion for Christ demonstrated by the members of VRC. This deep connection with their faith and community drew her to join their mission. Where she serves as a Global Partnership Team Leader
Gracia passionately believes in empowering youth to serve God and emphasizes that with Christ, there are no limits to what one can achieve. Gracia’s heartfelt nature and sensitivity, affectionately reflected in her nickname ‘crybaby,’ add a personal touch to her inspiring journey. Through her story, she encourages others to embrace the limitless potential found in faith and Christ.
